Thunder Mountain Trail, Sedona AZ

One of my favorite trails in Sedona!

Dead Horse Ranch State Park, AZ

Exploring and of course putting feet in the water!

transformation

After long hesitation I finally decided to cut it all off. Short, really short. It takes courage for sure.

There's no curtain of hair bangs to hide behind...
The interesting thing that happened is I feel more feminine and beautiful than in a long time.
And there's a practical aspect too, no hair dryer, flat iron etc.

I get so many compliments daily about my hair cut from strangers it's almost funny.

It's a real transformation and I am wondering why did I wait so long to do it.
I have a blast each day with my hair, thankful for daring to go real short.

Morocco in Palm Springs

Marrakesh for an hour... of course I will find a rug store in the desert! Soukie Modern has original moroccan rugs and more. The owner was born in a Berber village in the mountains in Morocco and lives with his wife in Palm Springs CA. He told me Palm Springs is on the same latitude as Morocco and has a similar climate, so he likes it here a lot. We talked about nomadic tribes and American lifestyle. He's an exotic export (immigrant =)) like myself, so it's interesting to exchange experiences.
