Chicas night out
Tearoom Lounge at Maison Blunt, Zurich |
Cantina la Lupe, Zurich. |
Cantina la Lupe, Zurich. This year I wanted to party with my chicas on my birthday. We went from Morocco to Mexico in one night. Too much spicy food, wine and mezcal… but a lot of fun! The mexican restaurant is new in Zurich and they serve real traditional mexican food. The cook is a Mexican and cooks after the recipes of his grandmother who is an Indios. We tried the enchiladas with mole sauce (spicy traditional cacao sauce). Very unusual for those who are used to standard tex-mex food. I was nicely surprised and liked it. The service was really nice, the atmosphere, the vine ! and the mezcal! I think I'll go back to try out more! They make home delivery as well: http://cantinalalupe.ch Watch out… be ready to be surprised! This is no restaurant for softies. |

rundfunk.fm…looooove!
finally again! I'm a big fan of that concept since 10 years. 30 days of fine radio sound from great dj's and every day free party from 17 until late. The location in the Landesmuseum was magic and unique. But since 2 years Oliver Scotoni had to find new locations. This year it is at the Supermarket, right next to Frau Gerold's Garten. Check the sound here: http://rundfunk.fm |

strong inspiration
Rudimental "Waiting All Night"
I first discovered the song which I think it is amazing.
But the official video is… strong. Very strong.
Diptyque Paris
I really love Diptyque Paris fragrances. Perfumes or candles. They have beautiful scented candles with fig tree, roses, vetiver and many more. But also unusual combinations like a scent of fresh cut grass, simply amazing! I could stay for hours discovering all those fragrances. A real pleasure for the senses. I spent yesterday a long time in downtown Zurich (well, not in Paris but thank God you can find that brand here too!) discovering new fragrances. Couldn't decide myself so I didn't buy anything (because I would probably buy all of them) but I liked the fig tree and the vetiver candles. Feu de bois, thé, coin coupé, baies, … were amazing too. But my discovery of yesterday was a perfume. It's called Tam Dao. I'm right now in summer time more into the light, green perfumes with bergamot or roses but always with a green touch. But I do love the woody scents with cedar, sandal wood and so, especially in winter. Tam Dao just blowed my mind. I can't remember if I smelled the eau de toilette or de parfum but I there was sandalwood and cedar in it. Really special. If you want to read more about Diptyque: http://www.diptyqueparis.com But most of all, you have to smell it. I |

Tom Waits "Going Out West"
"I don't need no make up, I got real scars…"
I'll be going out west soon too… ("where they'll appreciate me…")
