pink hair don't care

Added some pink to my hair just for the fun. I did it actually with cosmetic blush powder, no need to spend money at the hairdresser or on expensive products.
It's a kind reminder to express our creativity and individuality in anyway we can and have fun with it. Put that bright shirt or crazy pants on, who cares? It makes you feel good, go for it! Our time here on Earth is limited so why not enjoy it the best we can and have fun at it? With little things of everyday life. Enjoy as much as you can wherever you're at now!
Cheers to pink and red tones =)!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for all those who came yesterday at the opening reception!
Your support means so much to me. I even sold a big painting, I mean I am so very blessed and thankful!
Being able to share my work still feels kind of surreal but so very right. It feels I am on the right path at the moment after a phase of being lost in a new country and culture.
Everything falls into place if you let go and go with the flow. A huge life lesson for me, dealing with anxiety, impatience, fears not knowing in which direction my life goes.
After a year and a half of struggle on different levels, I feel a state of bliss and expansion. I still do struggle with fears sure but I noticed that letting go and allowing life to flow freely is very liberating. Everything that needs attention and light will resurface in people or situations to be worked on. Trusting life and the Universe knowing that there is a big master plan unfolding takes courage letting go. But trying more and more doing that helps me tremendously in daily life dealing with whatever happens.
Sharing my art still feels like a dream. Thank you again for all your support!

Vipassana retreat

I spent 6 days at the wonderful Dhamma Dena retreat center in Joshua Tree for another Vipassana retreat. It is a buddhist center founded in the 60ies by Ruth Dennison and offers each year many retreats with different teachers. The community is wonderful and even if we cannot talk because we are holding noble silence for the retreat, we get to know each other on a different level. Between the sessions (up to 9 hours of meditation and Dharma talks daily), there are assigned yogi jobs either in the kitchen helping out or cleaning.
It is only my second retreat but it is kind of addicting. Coming back to reality is challenging in many ways. I plan to go back for a few days on a work retreat in a week. Most beautiful for me is the loving and kind community gathering out there. This is so special and fills me with immense joy, love and compassion each time.
