new journey

| Details of another project. I was inspired by a painting I saw on a photograph of a fancy hotel room in Marrakesh. What caught my eye was the color composition, not the subject really. This is how I get inspired for a piece, by another artwork, a design color combination, nature... This artwork is a new way of working and kind of a challenge for me because it is very structured but still very free and impulsive. I am still working on it... exciting journey ahead! |

| The view this morning after yoga class from the private upstairs patio at Sundance Saloon, Parker Strip AZ. What a view and what a yoga studio! The weather finally cooled down here and we enjoy nice cooler nights and beautiful days. As much as I have hard times with the brutal heat in the summer here, I love our winters. Every day blue sky and sunshine...!! Love you Arizona! |
live art auction experience

| My work "Soul Music" at the art auction on the past Saturday at the College Street Brewhouse in Lake Havasu City. Theme this year was music. It was sold for $200 (!) and all sales go to the AAC (Allied Arts Council) supporting arts in the area in a form of scholarships. It was a fun event and my first live art auction! |
