In 3 months I saw two rattle snakes, rabbits, lizards, coyotes, squirrels, hawks, centipedes, butterflies, hummingbirds and many more but never scorpions. This is a baby who was on a carpet and I was standing one feet away and almost didn't see it. Living the desert life, be aware, eyes always open.
